A: No, you do not need a referral.
Q: How Many sessions will I need?
A: You have the flexibility to decide on the number and frequency of counselling sessions you need. Your therapeutic process is unique, and the number of sessions you need can vary. Some clients may start with one session per week/fortnightly and adjust the frequency as they progress. Others might find that attending therapy twice a week helps them address urgent issues more effectively.
Q: What Qualifications/memberships Do I hold?
A: ACA Member (Australian Counselling Association).
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 (Time Education).
Diploma in Counselling and Communication Skills (Torrens University Australia).
Bachelor of Social Sciences Majoring in Behavioural Studies (Final Year) Swinburne University.
Graduate Certificate in Childhood Trauma (University of South Australia) in Progress.
Q: Is Counselling covered by Medicare?
A: Unfortunately, at this present time, Medicare does not cover the cost of counselling services.
Q: What are your fees?
Standard sessions are $100 per hour. I also offer a sliding scale based on personal circumstances.

Counselling also helps you to set personal goals, and work towards desired change. Talking to someone can relieve you from depression, anxiety or other mental health conditions. It can also increase your confidence and decision-making skills. And give you the ability to manage stress effectively. Improve your problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
